These drop forged valve bodies are forged in EN3B (070M20) before being hardened and tempered.

The forged bodies, which resemble unequal tee forgings, are used in the oil and gas industry. We supply the blank forgings to our customer who finish machines them to the end customer’s specification.

Although there are many companies who import this type of forged part from “low cost countries” and hold stock in large quantities, W H Tildesley’s customers appreciate the value of guaranteed service levels. They can have complete confidence in the specification of the raw materials being used.
