W.H.Tildesley is pleased to announce the acquisition of several forging screw presses and various assets following the closure of Birmingham-based Cerro EMS.

This investment will allow us to offer a more comprehensive range of forging solutions.

For new customers, this means access to a supplier that can offer the production of a broader range of forged components, from those requiring the rapid, high-impact deformation of traditional drop forging to intricate, high-precision parts achievable only with the controlled, continuous pressure of screw presses, often with reduced material waste and superior surface finish.

Existing customers will benefit from increased flexibility in design, potentially leading to more optimised and cost-effective components, as we can now select the most appropriate forging method for each specific application.
